A Trip Into Today

Twisting, dashing, curiling, climb
Throw a rope around thoughts
Thoughts that twist sublime
up a ladder of memory drifting to tomorrow
Why try and cry if you never know where tears go
Flow from two and fly to a sky that often sighs from mercy’s persistence
Day after day with the sun rise
Winter and freeze pull one more sonnet of solace
One more glance of grace
Throw a rope around thoughts
Thoughts that twist sublime
up a ladder of memory drifting to tomorrow
Why try and cry if you never know where tears go
Flow from two and fly to a sky that often sighs from mercy’s persistence
Day after day with the sun rise
Winter and freeze pull one more sonnet of solace
One more glance of grace
